Shipping & Replacement Policy

At Lexium, we aim to get your order to you quickly and safely. Please read this Shipping Replacement Policy carefully — it explains processing times, delivery estimates, what to do if an item is damaged or incorrect, and how replacements are handled.
1. Shipping Overview
- Free shipping: We offer free shipping on all orders within India.
- Processing time: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days from the time your payment is confirmed.
- Delivery time: Standard delivery is typically 5–7 business days from shipment, depending on your location and courier.
- Tracking: You will receive a shipment confirmation and tracking number by email and/or SMS once your order ships. Use the tracking number on the courier’s website to monitor delivery status.
2. Failed or Delayed Deliveries
- If a delivery attempt fails, the courier may attempt redelivery or hold the package at a local facility. Please follow the courier’s instructions.
- If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, refusal, or failed delivery attempts, we will contact you. Re-shipment may require payment of additional shipping charges unless the return was due to our error.
3. Lost Shipments
- If the courier shows your package as delivered but you have not received it, or if the package is lost in transit, contact us immediately at info@lexiumworld.com with order details and tracking number.
- We wi l investigate with the courier. If the courier confirms loss and the item cannot be recovered, we wi l provide a replacement or (where required by law or at our discretion) a refund for the purchase price and shipping.
4. Inspection on Delivery
- Please inspect your package at the time of delivery. If the parcel appears tampered with or damaged, note it on the courier’s POD (proof of delivery) and refuse the parcel, or accept it and immediately report the condition to us. Take photos of the packaging and damaged product. These photos help expedite the replacement process.
5. Replacement Policy
- 10 days Eligibility window: You may request a replacement within 10 calendar days from the date of delivery for items that are defective, damaged during shipping, or incorrect items received.
- Eligibility requirements: To be eligible for replacement, the item must be:
- Unused (unless defective) and in original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase (order ID, invoice)
- Supported by clear photos showing the defect/damage or proof that the wrong item was delivered
- How to request a replacement: Email info@lexiumworld.com within 10 days of delivery with:
- Your order number, delivery date, and contact details
- Photographs of the damaged/defective product and packaging
- A brief description of the issue
- Assessment & approval: After we receive your request and evidence, our team will assess the claim and respond within 3–5 business days with next steps. If approved, we will arrange pickup of the damaged/incorrect item where required and ship a replacement at no additional cost to you.
- Replacement shipping: Lexium covers the standard return pickup and replacement shipping costs for approved claims.
6. Non-Replaceable Items
The folowing items are not eligible for replacement unless defective on arrival and supported by evidence:
- Gift cards and vouchers
- Opened consumables or perishable goods
- Customized, personalized, or made-to-order products (unless the customization was incorrect or defective)
7. Refunds
- Our standard practice is to offer replacements for eligible claims. We do not normally provide refunds.
- However, refunds may be issued where required by applicable law (for example, if a replacement cannot be provided within a reasonable time or at Lexium's discretion after investigation). Refunds, if provided, will be credited using the original payment method and may take several business days to reflect in your account depending on your bank/payment provider.
8. Liability & Third-Party Couriers
- We rely on third-party courier partners for delivery. Lexium is not responsible for delays, loss, or damage caused by courier services beyond the remedies available from those couriers. We will, however, actively assist you in lodging claims and seeking resolution.
- Our maximum liability for lost or damaged goods is limited to the amount paid by you for the product and applicable standard shipment charges.
9. International Shipping
- We currently ship only within India. If international shipping becomes available, separate terms and fees, including customs, duties, and taxes, will apply and will be communicated at checkout.
10. Changes to This Policy
- Lexium may update this Shipping Replacement Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated Effective Date. Continued use of the site after updates constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
